How I Changed from Being a Skeptical Partner to Supportive Partner & Student

Hi my name is Jayden Lee and I am a season 7 graduate of Dan Lok’s High Ticket Closer program.

Back in August 2018, my boyfriend, and now my fiancé, Joel Goh met Dan Lok through a Facebook advertisement and joined High Ticket Closing Program in Season 5.

What was my first reaction when Joel told me he was going to become a Closer?

All I could think of was ‘WTF is closing?’

Initially, I couldn’t fully support Joel’s decision in joining the HTC program and the fact that he doesn’t want to work a 9 to 5 job anymore.

There were even times when I got disappointed at Joel for telling me that he wants to become rich so he can give me the best life he could ever give to me.

WTF? I never asked Joel to go make money or buy me this and that?

I never said we have to be rich!

Why is he saying these things to me?

Was I being needy to him? I am financially confident for my age and I don’t need a lot of money to be happier.

But why is Joel suddenly believing that we needed to become rich out of nowhere? Every time Joel had class or talked about High Ticket Closing, it sounded so strange and new to me.

I just couldn’t fully believe in Dan Lok’s HTC program, even after Joel graduated from the program and brought many good results.

Yet, this man in red suit just blew my mind few months later… I had an opportunity to meet Dan Lok in person at his special event called Closers In Black 2018.

At first, I wasn’t that interested in going to the event, but Dan’s vision and his personal achievements he shared with his mentees and team were speechlessly amazing.

Ever since that 2nd day of the event, my skeptical mindset about Joel being in the program no longer existed in my mind.

All I could think of was ‘I want to become Dan’s mentee’.

On the last day of the event, I told Joel and even promised to Dan’s wife, Jennie, that I will join HTC Season 7 and become Dan Lok’s mentee. Now I call Dan Lok my Sifu, my mentor.

Honestly, breaking my lower self and changing my mindset also the way I view the world was not easy. But I knew I will only become better after graduating from the HTC program.

I was right, the journey I went through season 7 was incredibly good. I not the same person i used to be anymore. I am so grateful to Joel for introducing me to Sifu Dan Lok and the world of High Ticket Closing.

I cannot wait to see what God has in store for me, Joel, Sifu, and HTC family in 2019.

It is almost 2019 and I am so excited to reach my goals and bring more results next year. How about you? What is your main goal for new year? Are you still struggling to find your passion? I would love to discuss about your struggles and goals if you are interested. If you would like to connect with me, feel free to contact me at jdhilee512@gmail.com.

Thank you for taking your time to read my article, and I’m looking forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Jayden Lee
